Learning through adventure
From spotting wildlife and beach treasures to taking on fun challenges, Junior Explorers turns Mentawai into a giant classroom.
Make string from coastal hibiscus, race hermit crabs, learn to open a coconut and discover plants used in traditional Mentawai medicine.
Discovering local knowledge
Some of the most meaningful adventures are shared with the people who call Mentawai home. Junior Explorers encourages kids to learn from local people, discover traditional knowledge and see the island through a different perspective.
